A few weeks ago I met up with the adorable Woodward family at Scottsdale Civic Center to take some family photos for them.  This family was so sweet and the kids were so well behaved.  They were an absolute pleasure to photograph and work with!  They even brought along their dog and baby bunny for some of the photos and I think we got some great photographs of the entire family!

Remember this sweet little newborn….

Phoenix Newborn Photographer

Well she’s grown in to one adorable 6-month old…

Baby Grace is seriously one of the cutest little baby girls ever!!  I think it’s a mix of those bright blue eyes and gorgeous milky skin…she could be a model baby for sure!  And not to mention she’s was one of the sweetest and easiest babies to photograph and I don’t think she cried once during our session!  She made my job of capturing her adorableness pretty easy!  You may remember her adorable face from her newborn session back in July of last year!  Grace’s parents purchased one of the Baby Steps packages that I offer, which means that I get to photograph her and her cuteness 3 times in her first year and create a fun album to document her growth over that first year!  So you’ll definitely be seeing this little cutie a couple more times on the blog!

I love all the pink we used in her first session and we definitely didn’t shy away from the bows, pink and girly accessories in this session either!  Not to mention we brought back some of the baskets and buckets we used in her first session to really mark how fast this little sweetheart has grown!

Gotta love the pink bucket!

Thanks for being such a great baby, Grace!!!  Can’t wait to see how much you’ve grown and how adorable you are at your one-year session!!

PS…If you’ve outgrown that tutu, Miss Grace, I think I know someone who wouldn’t mind a hand-me-down that adorable!!!  Wink wink!

Before Christmas I met up with Kyle and Leslie to get some photos of the two of them and their dog, Beau.  I first met Kyle and Leslie through the small group we attend on Thursday nights through our amazing church, McDowell Mountain Community Church.  Leslie is an amazing chef and Kyle is an aspiring professional golfer and it’s been so fun getting to know the two of them.  They really are two of the nicest people you will meet!  I was so excited when Leslie mentioned that they wanted to have me take their photos for their Christmas cards!  We ended up picking one of the windiest days of the entire year as well as one of the coldest but these two were troopers and we got some beautiful photos of their little family.  We met up at Papago Park just below the Hole in the Rock and I have to say that I’m loving the colors and landscape as well as how cute these two look together!

How cute is the Hadley Family?!?!  As you can tell from the Christmas tree behind them these we’re taken way back when for their holiday portraits.  I actually know this adorable family because Ed was my swim coach when I swam for Scottsdale Aquatics Club when I was a junior and senior in high school nearly 10 years ago! Wow how time flies!  Anyways, Stephanie and Ed are also good friends with Julie and Dan who you might remember from this post and Julie was kind enough to recommend me to them.  I met up with the Hadley’s at DC Ranch Marketplace, one of my favorite places to shoot, and we got some fun photos of the entire family!

Oh blogland, you’ll be so proud of me.  I’m almost done blogging all my holiday portrait sessions!!  That’s right, only 3 more to go and I’m all caught up (on the holiday sessions at least!).  And I’ve been consistent about blogging this week!  Yay!!  And in case you’re wondering, yes, I am giving myself a big pat on the back!

Anyways, on to the next adorable family that I photographed as Jennifer Bowen‘s associate back at the end of November.  I met up with this family at their beautiful home near the base of Pinnacle Peak Mountain and we utilized their gorgeous property to get some really adorable photos.

At the beginning of December the Sokol family booked me as an associate of Jennifer Bowen‘s to take their family holiday portraits.  We met up at the Marriott at Desert Ridge for a quick mini session and I think we got some really cute photos of the family!

You may remember this adorable family from Lily’s newborn session all the way back in June of 2009 and from their 2009 holiday portrait session!  I think Lily’s newborn session was one of the very first newborn sessions I ever did so I’m so thankful that they’ve kept coming back to me for more photos!!  It’s been so fun to see Lily grow from a little newborn in to a sweet 6-month old and now in to a very energetic 18 month old!  And when I say energetic, I mean very energetic!  This little girl loves to run (like most 18 month olds) so getting her to sit for some family photos took some work but I think we got some cute ones!  Plus Lily is extremely adorable so all the candids I got of her were well worth all the extra exercise I got that day!

I think I had asked Lily where her belly was and instead of pointing she decided to show me!  How cute!!
